EXTERNAL CANDIDATE EXAMINATION POLICY
This policy covers all entries made by the Exams office on behalf of external candidates for GCSE and GCE exams
Entries will only be accepted in all exams series (November, January, March and June).
All entries must be received and paid before the entry deadline.
Al-Noor College will not accept any entries or amendments after submission to the examination bodies. If this will be insisted then there would be additional charge to cover the administration cost.
In addition to all published exam entry fees, external candidates will be charged an administration fee & Invigilation fee. If candidates require separate invigilation there will be an additional charge dependent on the length of the exams.
Al-Noor College will not be responsible for any controlled assessment components attached to an exam entry. Therefore, external candidates whose entries include a controlled assessment component must make alternative arrangements with a distance learning organisation (i.e., OOL, NEC, ICS etc). In case where Al-Noor College agreed to accommodate any controlled assessment support then there would be additional charge depending on the nature of assessment.
Al-Noor College cannot administer oral components for language examinations or practical components of a syllabus. In case where Al-Noor College agreed to accommodate any oral/ practical exams then there would be additional charge depending on the nature of assessment.
It is the candidate’s responsibility to choose an appropriate syllabus and provide these details to the Exams Officer. Al-Noor College will not advise on choice of syllabus/Awarding Body and will not be held responsible for any late fees that arise from amendments.

Once your entry has been processed you will receive a statement of entry from [Name of Centre] together with details of the timings and venues for your exam(s). Timetables will be displayed on the notice boards or can be accessed online on the examination board website.
